WisdomAI, the AI data analytics startup founded by Rubrik co-founder Soham Mazumdar, has secured $50 million in Series A funding led by Kleiner Perkins with participation from NVentures, Nvidia’s venture capital arm Substack. This investment brings the company’s total capital raised to $73 million, coming just six months after WisdomAI raised a $23 million seed round led by Coatue Betaworks. The rapid fundraising pace reflects strong investor confidence in the company’s approach to enterprise AI analytics, with Nvidia’s strategic participation signaling validation from a leader in AI infrastructure.

Eliminating AI Hallucinations Through Smart Architecture

WisdomAI addresses the critical problem of AI hallucinations by using large language models only to write queries that retrieve data from warehouses, rather than having LLMs generate the actual answers Substack. The company has developed what it calls the “enterprise context layer,” which studies and understands customer data to provide accurate, reliable insights. Since formally launching in late 2024, WisdomAI has experienced explosive growth, expanding from two enterprise customers to around 40, including major companies like Cisco, ConocoPhillips, and Patreon Substack. Customer adoption has been particularly strong, with one client growing from 10 seats to 450 users—nearly their entire company—demonstrating the platform’s value across organizations.

In recent months, WisdomAI has added an agentic feature that alerts users in real time to important changes in situations they are monitoring, moving analytics from static reports to dynamic, proactive insights Substack. The company plans to use the new funding to accelerate development of its AI Data Analysts and Autonomous Agents, which provide conversational insights grounded in the Enterprise Context Layer that encodes a company’s business logic and knowledge Betaworks.
